Testing

Tested in 3 different ways

• Used ‘tc’ as our testing tool

  • eg. added a qdisc with our system call and used ‘show’ option in ‘tc’ to verify, used tc to delete it and vice versa

• Conducted tests on the testbeds with ‘ttcp’

  • assigned different priorities, bandwidths for traffic to 2 different destinations from a given host and verified the working by noting throughput measurements

• Our system calls have been successfully used by EF and Policing groups of the DiffSpec project
